European and Asian Specialists
Fruitland, MD
The service starts at the front office, nothing but professionalism. Even the office staff are knowledgeable about vehicles. This is the third time going and I always pickup on time as promised, and the issue is always fixed correctly the first time. The typical cars this shop works on requires really good mechanics, so I feel like you get better service than just any run of the mill auto mechanic. Will be bringing my cars here as long as I live in the area.

I have had my vehicles serviced here for the past couple of years. The atmosphere here is professional from the front door all the way through to service and the owners one on one communication. It is always nice to leave a place and feel like you dealt with professional people. I highly recommend Charles and his team.

Awesome service! It was 4pm on a Friday and I was shopping for a used Honda. I called Charles to see if he could do a quick inspection. Not only did he squeeze me in, but he gave me a list of repairs that would be mandatory as well as down the road so that I could budget for them. I ended up buying the Honda Pilot for $2,000 less than the sticker. Thanks Autobahn Team!
- Molly H.
Professional, courteous, and informative service. The owner took time to explain the process of diagnosing and subsequent repair of my complicated A/C problem.
- Mike H.
These guys really know what they’re doing and are true Automotive professionals.

Very very reasonably priced oil change. Also had a full vehicle check done. Charles definitely knows his stuff. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else on the eastern shore.

Best customer service on the MD Eastern Shore!

Charles and the team were just awesome! I hit my front bumper the Wednesday right before Thanksgiving. It got disconnected from its brackets on the right side. I called Autobahn at 4:30 PM and they squeezed me right in even though they close at 5 PM and re-attached my bumper in 30 minutes. Super helpful and understanding that I wanted / needed it fixed right away and they made my day! Thank you!

Top notch service! Autobahn goes above and beyond! I have taken both my Audi S4 and VW Touareg to Autobahn and they have performed all service and repairs in an affordable and timely manner. In addition their customer service really makes it an enjoyable experience.

Great service, great employees, great value, period. Highly experienced in European cars. The owner has gone above and beyond for me numerous times. I highly recommend over anywhere else within at least 100 mile radius.

I moved to Salisbury 3 years ago from the DC area. I have been a BMW owner for 30+ years and used the same shop for all that time.
When I moved to Salisbury, with 3 BMW's, a 1984 528 e, an X5 & a Z3. A neighbor recommended Autobahn Service center. I have been using them ever since. They knew about the classic & the more modern. I am now down to 2 cars. The X5 & Z3.
Charles & his team are very knowledgeable and take great care and inform you of what is going on with your car. They stand behind their work & if something comes up after a repair they fix it without charge. This has happened to me twice.
I am grateful to find the same level of service I experienced from my former shop Excluservice in Rockville, MD.

This place has serviced my car for three years and helped me cut every corner I could to save money while in college. They are consistent in delivering great service and have always been up front and honest in every interaction. I hate spending money on auto repairs but when they tell me something needs to be done I do it and 10 out of 10 times they save me a significant amount of money versus any dealer on the shore. Today I was 17000 miles over the recommended mileage to change my micro filter and they let me know I could get away with still not doing it. Charles has always helped me to prioritize my services truly based on need. They are an honest business and conduct themselves at a level that I have not received in any of the many states I have lived prior. They always find a way to fit me in even when they are very busy. When I have to move in the next few years this business will be one of the three hardest things I will need to replace and I will miss them the most.

Reviews from Bimmershops
My car was hesitating when I took off. First, I carried it to Checkered Flag bmw in va beach. They tried to repair it but told me my car was old and I should expect it to not run properly. I took to Autobahn Service Center and Charles fixed it. I have 180,000 miles on it and it runs stronger now than it did when I purchased it with 40,000. I recommend him highly.

I have a 2010 VW Bug that has been difficult for many mechanics to work on. Charles was able to identify my problems and repair them at a reasonable cost. He was very helpful in explaining that a problem could be an insurance claim based on a repair that was incomplete after an accident. He offered to explain the situation to my insurance company. This is a company who prides itself on good, honest work. I recommend Autobahn to any foreign car owner.

Hard to find good Euro indie shops in a region like the Eastern Shore. Owner is a Dealer trained BMW tech. Very good comprehensive knowledge of all things German, Japanese etc...Def recommend.

Top notch. Fair pricing. Very glad to have discovered this place.

If you have a foreign car, this is the place to go for repairs. Charles and his staff have done a great job on our Nissan Murano and Land Rover
Discovery.
Very quick service, great coffee, and they won't gouge you in the wallet like so many dealerships do.
Great customer service by Katelyn in the office. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I own two Volvos and take both here. In fact, my Mom requests that Charles fixes her car and she lives 6 hours away in Staunton, VA. Charles is extremely professional, thorough, and practical. He takes the time to sit down with clients and explain exactly what is happening with your vehicle. This place is neat, because you have the chance to communicate directly with the person fixing your car. My family has owned only Volvos. We will only take our cars to Autobahn.

Charles Ignasias is the owner and Master Technician at Autobahn Service Center in Fruitland, MD. He specializes in European and Asian cars and has saved me more than once. I went to him after a friend recommended Autobahn for my Volvo station wagon. I had used Racetrack Auto on Route 50 in Berlin for several years, but when they botched a repair and told me to pay them an exorbitant rate to fix it "properly," I went to Autobahn. Charles fixed the problem for half of what was quoted by Racetrack.
Then, my son wrecked our VW Passat Wagon. Nobody could anticipate the damage done by a 10 mile an hour collision with a telephone pole. This inability to predict the total final charges more accurately is the only reason I am not giving Autobahn a 5 star review. I was given an initial price for repair. The final repairs cost more than twice this estimate and more than the car cost to begin with because parts that were broken in the collision weren't discovered until all the body work by the other shop was done first. I wish I had known the total cost of the repair up front and I might have chosen to get a different car and write this one off as totaled. Given that, however, I can still recommend Charles and Autobahn wholeheartedly for the way they dealt with the problem.
Charles said this was a learning experience for both of us and that is true.
In dealing with the car and all the unexpected issues, Charles was 100% professional. He kept me informed of the problems as they appeared, including a cracked transmission that wasn't apparent initially. He knew that my son was trying to pay for the repair. Charles tried to keep costs as low as he could given how much work he had to do. He even researched and bought a low mileage used transmission to save us money.
Due to the estimate being so far below the actual costs, Charles donated as much labor as he charged for.
Charles made a bad situation better with his professionalism, consideration, and skill. I recommend him and his shop, Autobahn Service Center, 100%.

I was stranded during our biggest snow this winter. Charles and his guys came to my house, jumped my car, took it back to his shop and put in a new battery, changed the oil and I had my car back in 4 hours. The most incredible service, very reasonable pricing and great expertise. What a pleasure to know these fine people.

Finding a good mechanic is hard to do these days, but I've found a keeper with Autobahn. Charles and Co. really do offer the best bang for the buck, they are quite knowledgeable and were willing to lend a competent hand in my time of need. If you have a European/Japanese auto, I wholeheartedly recommend Autobahn for high quality workmanship, parts, and very reasonable pricing.
- Don R.
Great service and price. They really know what they are doing, and are very pleasant to work with.
- Barbara W.
I want to publicly commend Charles and his team for doing excellent work at a reasonable price. I started going there for routine maintenance and for a few repairs soon after they opened, and have been 100% satisfied with the work they have done. I highly recommend them to anyone having a European or Asian car.

Autobahn gives outstanding service in every category - clear, timely communication at every stage - from when you first bring your car in to when it is ready to be picked up, reliable, high quality mechanical work, sound advice on repair options that were always sensitive to both my financial constraints and my commitment to using high quality parts and materials, and sound advice on preventive maintenance. I took my 2004 Audi A6 Avanti wagon to Autobahn for two years, from the time I acquired it in 2012 with 107,000 miles on it to when I sold it in November 2014 with 150,000 miles on the odometer. Issues included a complete transmission service, replacing a faulty fuel pump and xenon headlight, in addition to routine servicing and trouble-shooting various symptoms that older cars present. I especially appreciate the personal attention that Charles Iglesias, Autobahn's owner, gives to his customers, including his clear diagnosis of problems, discussion of options for dealing with them and his timely updates on work-in-progress. He runs a low-key, personal, highly professional, no frills operation that provides dependable, outstanding service to his customers.
